Te Wānanga O Aotearoa (TWoA) provide holistic education opportunities specifically for Māori peoples. They are one of New Zealand’s largest tertiary education providers, with 80 locations across the country.

When TWoA began the search for ways to improve their onboarding process, they knew their current mountain of paperwork was more intimidating than a Haka at the Rugby World Cup.
The team knew that technology was going to be integral to TWoA’s people strategy, yet they wanted additional functionality specific to New Zealand, the type that most all-in-one solutions would not be able to provide.
HROnboard was able to include a Maori language pack and fields for Maori tribes in TWoA’s candidate portal. The additional fields for Maori cultural values is in line with TWoA’s ethos, providing inclusive education solutions for all.
