We believe in giving back to our community and each year in lieu of corporate gifts we donate to three local charities on behalf of our team and customers.
We’re not posting this to be self-congratulatory or to explain away why our customers haven’t received a giant pineapple, chocolates or whatever 2017’s hot gift item is – we didn’t forget you and we still adore you all!
In fact, we want to highlight the amazing charities we’re supporting, in the hope that you might too!
This year, we’ve made donations to the Coldstream Animal Shelter, Caitlin’s Retreat and the Smith Family Christmas Appeal. Keep reading to find out more of each of these incredible organisations.
Coldstream Animal Shelter
After volunteering at Coldstream Animal Aid; our office guru Wendy fell in love with their philosophy. While finding spare time this year has been a challenge, Wendy advocates strongly to support this amazing team each Christmas.
With more than 1200 animals expected to arrive at Animal Aid over the Christmas season – we can only imagine the incredible amount of time and resources this would take to manage.
We love that Animal aid is an open door shelter – no animal in need will ever be turned away, and they don’t discriminate against breed, age, temperament, health or perceived adoptability.
Coldstream Animal Aid also have a senior for seniors program placing geriatric animals with seniors that need a companion to love and adore. Anyone’s parents or grandparents need some company this Christmas? To give the gift of endless snuggles, be sure to check out their site.
Caitlin’s Retreat:

Caitlin’s Retreat is on the outskirts of Melbourne and gives families of special needs children the opportunity to getaway and enjoy a break together as a family.
Caitlin’s Retreat is offered without charge for four nights and operates wholly on fundraising and the support from the community.
Future projects that need support include the plans for a barn and animal pens and restoring the tennis court and improvements to access throughout the gardens and surrounds.

Smith Family Christmas Appeal

It’s incredible to think that more than 1.1 million children and young pe
ople are living in poverty across Australia and in criticalneed of additional learning support throughout their education. The Smith Family’s Christmas Appeal seek to provide thousands of disadvantaged children with access to important out-of-school learning programs.
Our team are passionate about innovation and improvement and believe that all children and young adults should have access to education and tools to help them succeed.
